Christmas Edition.

A Wee Bit of Me
By MyLeighAshley

{one} did you buy a christmas tree this year?
Well, my mommy did. And my dad did too. Not me though. Hopefully next year I will have my own place!

{two} what is your favorite holiday tradition?
My dad makes a lobster for Christmas Eve dinner, yes. And all of the "kids" are allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve. I usually choose the smallest.
My boyfriend's family also has a tradition that I am going to adopt one day: a light ride that is fully equipped with blankets, hot chocolate, and popcorn.

{three} do you open your gifts on christmas eve or christmas day?
Christmas day, sans the one gift as mentioned previously.

{four} at what age did you stop believing in santa claus?
I was around 9 or 10 I think. Whenever I would confront my mom about whether or not he was real, she'd simply say, "Santa is the spirit of giving."

{five} do you fill stockings?
Yes. In my stocking from my mom, there is always a small stuffed teddy bear and some trinkets. In my stocking from my dad there will undoubtedly be about 50 lbs of candy and gum.

{six} handmade presents or store bought presents?
Both.

{seven} do you have a favorite christmas meal?
Lobster, lobster, lobster.

{eight} is your christmas tree real or artificial?
Real trees, can't beat it.

{nine} what is your favorite christmas song?
I love Lennon's "Happy Xmas, The War is Over." And I also love "Feliz Navidad" (my boyfriend and I have a funny dance). "O Come All Ye Faithful" is another favorite.

{ten} did you send out christmas cards this year?
Nope. Oops.

  1. Love the lobster on Christmas. I've never had lobster before? Shock and awe...I know. I hope you enjoy your holiday though. Big families are AWESOME! :)

  2. Whatever happened to Hark the Herald Angels Sing? Gee, how quickly they forget! I'll never forget how my little girl sounded singing that song in her cute little "swollen adenoid" tone! NEVER!
