A Wee Bit of Me

{one} what was your first pet and how did you come up with its name?
My first pet ever was a black lab named Maggie. However, since I was a wee lass at the time I was not involved with the name choosing process. Nonetheless, I did choose the names for my two goldfish that were won at a town festival: Goldie and Goldieblack (the latter of the two had black polka dots).
Creativity was one of my stronger assets.

{two} do you like your ice crushed or cubed?
Cubed. Although crushed ice is easier to munch when the liquid at hand has inevitably run dry, the time it takes to process and filter to the cup is entirely too long and wares my patience thin.

{three} do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in "attracted to" at first sight. Love is just more complicated than that.

{four} do you have any nicknames?
Not really. But I'm not bitter. Emmy in itself is a nickname, after all.

{five} what movie do you never get tired of watching?
Grease or You've Got Mail.

{six} how do you like your eggs cooked?
Scrambled with cheese. I've also recently jumped on the fried over easy bandwagon.

{seven} are you named after anyone in particular?
Emmy Lou Harris.
There is actually only a grain of truth to this. However, as my brother's name is Dylan (after Bob), I sense a loose theme.

{eight} what are three things that you would like to do that you haven't done yet?
I'd like to go on a hot air balloon ride, travel to a foreign country with my boyfriend/husband, and I would like to get married/start a family.

{nine} what one thing always brightens your mood?
Reassurance.

{ten} what five things will you always find in your purse?
Cell phone, wallet, camera, chap stick, keys.
