A Fun Fact.

Anyone who knew me as a child or who is close to me personally knows that I have grown up with a strange ailment- one that, on some levels, has carried over into adulthood.

Buttons, I don't like them. You know, those little pieces of plastic that are used as a fastening device for clothing? Yeah, they creep me out. In fact, I hesitated at the thought of even posting a picture to correspond with this blog post due simply to the fact that I don't want to have to look at them every time I open my page. It is an absolutely bizarre trait, I'm aware.
The worst of the plight occurred during my formative toddler years when I was around 3 or 4 years old. At this age I refused to wear even blue jeans because of the button on them- thus, it was stretchy stirrup pants or bust for me. Obviously, I've matured since then, but I still try not to wear clothing with buttons unless I absolutely have to or unless the outfit is just THAT cute. Sometimes I'm willing to sacrifice, but other than that, it is ix-nay on the uttons-bay.

This is why when I learned of the band "F**k Buttons," I got really excited!
Truth be told, they're a "noise group." Their music can tend to sound a bit aggressive or disorienting if directed toward an unsuspecting ear.
Nevertheless, I've often wondered if the band's name was acquired from one of its members suffering from a similar affliction.
