Sockball.

Today is my last day of spring semester undergrad classes EVER.
Since I still have one more class to take this summer though, the feeling isn't hitting me quite as hard as it may be others.

However, the time is coming soon when I will be leaving Knoxville for good and moving back home.
Now that it is finally warm and the weather is beautiful, I'm starting to think I might miss this crazy place that I've called home for the past four years.

Graduation is scary as it is, but the most horrifying part of the whole shenanigan is the fact that we can know longer blame our immature and devious actions on the fact that we're "young and in college."

Like, for example, the fine sport of sockball

The object of the game is similar to that of soccer. It is a one on one affair. The defender is in charge of making sure that the sockball does not make it past him and into the assigned area (much like a goalie) while the offender throws the sockball as hard as he possibly can.

Nope, this era has ended.
Now when we act in such a juvenile way, we have no excuse.
We're simply grownups that need to get a grip.

  1. you don't always have to get a grip...

i often behave like a college student (or younger) in the privacy of my own home, and I'm 3 years out of college :)
